Crafty Balboa April Showers 2012

Just for a little good luck, I saved the Crafty Balboa April Showers applications for a sunshine-y day!
So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen the applications....




The show will take place Saturday April 28th, 2012 from 12pm to 5pm at Passyunk and Tasker Ave in South Philadelphia in conjunction with Flavors of the Avenue. More info to follow!
Please keep in mind this is an outdoor show with no rain date. Tents are your friend.
Applications are due by March 25th, 2012. Can't wait to see all those applications start rolling in!

I am a Philly based designer! All my items are one of a kinds made by me. Every item is embellished with fun, unique textiles, sequins, beads and girly trims.

MY SEPTEMBER MORNINGS at Crafty Balboa Holiday this Saturday!

I love working with anything old, any forgotten treasure from the past. Collecting the elements I use in my pieces is my favorite part of the work that I do, sometimes I find things and know immediately what they will become when I get them home,while others may be stashed away in my art room for years before I will use them. 
For me there is something comforting about giving new life to an item that was once loved but had been forgotten years ago. I love working with pieces that show tell tale signs of their age and will always choose to showcase the time worn patina of a found item instead of polishing it's past life away.
